Multi-Cloud data platform integration with OneLake Shortcut and Caching
Hybrid and multi-cloud data platform is the norm in large organizations and fast and efficient integration among all the pieces of the architecture is fundamental for better insights and lower costs. In this session we explore the concept of Microsoft Fabric OneLake, its open-format strategy and how it's possible to leverage OneLake shortcuts to easily integrate third-parties storage services like S3 and Google Cloud Storage into a centralized data platform based on Microsoft Fabric without losing the investment. During the demos we bring some real-world scenarios, exploring how to improve performances with V-Ordering enabled storage on Fabric side and we talk about Shorcut Caching that help in optimizing egress costs from third-party storages.
